Two Points HIGHER Than Obama at the same point in their terms. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.

Trump's highest level of approval since shortly after his inauguration.

I think the best part of the Scorched Earth SOP the Establishment is deploying on Trump.
Will give the public fatigue by election. They will vote for Trump because they will know it's lies and bullshit.

Don’t forget: the Summer Olympics is coming! It’s going to be a tranny circus and cause more outrage than five hundred Trumpian tweets! It’s going to show everyone in the entire world just how fucking WRONG the Left is about goddamned everything! Right before election!
Glorious!

So I suppose the Soviets were just ahead of their time, with those rather masculine "women" competing in women's sports.

It's going to be great when Trump gets reelected. If leftoids thought we already have a savage in the office they haven't seen anything yet when Trump truly doesn't have to care anymore. Best 4 years of entertainment to come.

Republican voters chose two of President Donald Trump’s children as their top choices for president in 2024, according to a recent poll.

I have some of these - they sell them on Amazon.

They're great fun to hand out, or when you owe a buddy some cash, slip one of those in the middle of the 20's and wait a few days until they come back to you with a funny story of how some cashier rejected their money in front of a big line lol.

They also sell gold bills, and lots of Trump coins too. And my favorite - my White Privilege Id Card:

Trump.

It does seem that way because:

1. Trump did not start any wars.
2. The economy literally broke records (good ones!) during Trump's time in office. Lowest black unemployment ever, for example
3. Trump now can't be accused of lacking political experience.
4. Biden is not at all inspiring, and doesn't seem to be all there.
50   RC2006   2020 Jun 8, 8:34pm

Trump has avoided war even though multiple times they have tried to pull him in. He has been our most peaceful presedent in my lifetime. He also called out reps and dems that were for Iraqi war. Biden was for the Iraqi war.

Biden is not at all inspiring, and doesn't seem to be all there.

And Biden has literally no accomplishments after 40 or so years in politics, other than enriching himself and family.

1. True and important normally but people are not focused on war, it helps him minimally
2. People have very short memories, what have ya done for me lately? look at GHW Bush from 90% approval to losing in a mild recession. economy is in recession
3. Ha Ha Ha that is his weak point. He is all politics and no substance and a now proven incompetent at running the government and hiring competent people, major neg.
4. Agree but Biden is enough there to mop the floor with the self named "stable genius", excuse me "very stable genius"

Any idea how they come up with the approval rating numbers?

This may be one of the funniest things I've read on Patnet. Trump mopped the floor in debates with someone that had already run for POTUS. It was part of the reason I almost voted for him in '16. Biden is toast man. Trump is going to have so many one liner digs on the ready that it's going to have great comedic value. I wouldn't be shocked if Joe resorted to a physical altercation 30 minutes in. This is also if he even makes it to the debates. Still convinced DNC pulls the rug out from under him at some point.

Biden won't debate Trump, thus keeping his mental fragility hidden from the masses.
He doesn't have to, given the current poll numbers...

If Biden skips the debates he is sunk. Biden's only hope is a knockout blow in at least 2 of the 3 debates.

I think the general trends between now and November will be in Trump's favor. New COVID infections are already trending down after the 2nd wave and people will be more and more frustrated if Democrats are still advocating lockdowns and school closures into October/November.

And of course we still have the Durham report coming out which could have criminal indictments of big people of what is quite possibly the biggest political scandal in our lifetimes. Sally Yates just thew Comey under the bus today.
61   Shaman   2020 Aug 5, 4:43pm

We still have a lot of ground to cover before November. Trump has taken his knocks. But he will be redeemed with HCQ as the truth is now coming out that this was an effective treatment and the Democrats tried to suppress it. They’re not going to be able to spin those extra hundred thousand deaths into a positive. And since Covid is what so many people care about, this won’t be a good look for their failed party.

The truth is coming out about Biden. He’s not a valid candidate. Watch for buzz about the VP pick who is now half a week overdue. It’s got to be someone inspirational to overcome the drag of electing a senile old man to the highest office in the country.

Anybody know the difference between a lion and an elephant, or are you all on crack, man?

Laughable poll from CBS the other day has Trump behind Biden in NC by 4%, polls had him losing NC to Clinton a week before Nov 2016.

Not only did CBS crib respondents from other's polls, but CBS oversampled dems by ~10%. Check the last few questions. About 400 Dems answering compared to about 360 Republicans...

But you're saying "Oh, well, lots of people are moving to NC and the Republican Majority is being chiseled away, so they're just adjusting the poll for differences in the party affiliation of registered voters"

Not according to voter registration: In 4 years, the Republicans gained 100k registrations and lead the Democrats in party affiliation. The Democrats lost 100k, and independents gained - apparently all the Indy gain at the expense of the Dems.
