As in the Soviet Union, the goal of obedience to ridiculous commands is to demoralize people so that they don't fight back.
100% agreed. Like Kafka's Castle, small business owners, workers and pretty much everyone else not with their own private island have to jump through bullshit rules and hoops til they are so demoralized that they give up or turn on each other. Without (potentially violent) civil disobedience people won't be able to return to normal. The bullshit has taken over their lives, esp. in leftoid states.

You know, masks are great for this as well.
I actually had a woman cover her masked face with her arms when I jogged by today without a mask. I literally laughed out loud and that was the appropriate thing to do.
I never wear a mask outdoors. It's frankly psychotic.
Psychosis:
Psychosis is an abnormal condition of the mind that results in difficulties determining what is real and what is not real. Symptoms may include delusions and hallucinations. Other symptoms may include incoherent speech and behavior that is inappropriate for the situation.
Wow, this is an amazingly accurate description of the left.
Any reason why UV-B bulbs (ultraviolet light that destroys viruses, but safe for people) have not been installed in trains or other indoor areas where people gather?

That might contribute to a return to normality. Can't have that.

UVB will give you a tan, or a sunburn.
They aren't trying to solve the problem, they are artificially creating problems to offer bullshit solutions. 1/2 the country doesn't even believe there's a pandemic and has ended this masking BS and social distancing. Not in my area, but in parts of Northern NY, certainly.
If we are to believe NPR the impeachment procedure can be held even after the person has left the office. As inferred by some "political science professor" from Stanford who literally wrote a book on that shit (doesn't mean it's true, of course).
The purpose of doing it is not as silly as it looks at first glance: they want to make sure Trump is not running in 2024 and being impeached, removed and specifically banned from being elected again is the only way to achive that. The hardest part is removal as it requires 2/3 vote in Senate. The last step, bizzarely enough, requires only majority vote.
Again Trump will be too old in 2024, bi-den is already enough. That's a chance of a worthy conservative successor ticket like D. Crenshaw / C. Owens 2024.
It doesn't matter, conservatives will need a good candidate in 2024. Looking backwards won't accomplish anything if everything goes on as planned til 2024.

Will be beaten just outside the mandatory recount margin by 3AM after a 4-year campaign of "modernizing elections with mail voting, like in progressive states like Oregon have been doing for years now and worked so well during the COVID crisis, that only conspiracy theorists disagreed, like convicted subversive felon Rudy Guiliani, whose name is next to Benedict Arnold for his sedition"
Or even more likely: Mitt Romney, beloved lion of the Senate, ascends to the Presidency. Romney was one of many brave Republican senators who stood up to the threat of MAGA.

Agreed but I also meant it won't matter if the candidate has a 100% "clean" record. Nobody has a perfect record, I'd still vote for the better alternative. Politics is always the politics of what's possible. Better than achieving nothing IMO.

Or throw Rand in there with proper marketing. It would take a push to turn conservatives to support the Constitutional principles and divest from the “conservative” party of old. Might get people to vote that otherwise haven’t for decades.

But, but... they broke a glass in some door and some dude sat with his feet on Pelosi's desk!
It was a mostly peaceful dump.
I thought that the standard was shitting on her desk?

Apparently Lizard Nancy, Chyna Joe and Camelwhore disagree.
They may be afraid of what Trump will expose in the coming months, and want to shut it down now.
FIXED:
They may be afraid of what Trump will expose in the coming days, and want to shut it down now.
Fuck him. Goddamn back stabber.
