But unless you are only 9 years old and don't remember history, Iraq was the biggest unfinished business for the US military after the fall of the USSR.

I dunno - maybe because two of the largest buildings in the world came crashing down directly adjacent to Building 7 resulting in a massive debris pile that weakened the structure and caused a massive fire that burned uncontrolled for hours weakening the beams? The water supply to the building was damaged by the other tower collapse so the fires burned for hours on several floors.

There are plenty of independent fact checks from independent engineering and news organizations on WTC7. They even narrow it down to a specific girders and floors that failed.

There was renovation/construction going on inside WTC prior to 9-11, carried out by a company that had one of the Bush brothers on the board. As for how much effort it takes to take down a building, the usual large amount of human effort in peacetime rigging up a building for implosion is due to safety reasons: double-check, triple-check, 100x safety verification carried out every step of the way in order to avoid a single human casualty. When the operators don't have to worry about avoiding maiming/killing people, bringing down a building can be much much quicker. Did you not see the video a few days of how the Hamas administrative building was brought down? That was a medium sized building, took only seconds by a few missile strikes into the weight-bearing columns.

The cover-up for 9-11 was also easy: cordoning off the site, and shipping off the debris quickly before any forensic study was done. Missiles hitting the Hamas administrative building had explosive war heads, whereas jet liners don't carry explosives onboard (and can't be fused properly even if it did have explosives onboard, as there hasn't been systematic testing of Boeing 737/767 as projectile weapons). The missiles hitting the Hamas administrative building delivered explosive warheads into spots near the foundation of the building, the delayed fuse explosion from the war heads broke the support columns and brought down the building. The jetliners had no explosives onboard, and hit high up on the building. The fire in WTC7 was near the roof of the building on one corner; the collapse made no sense whatsoever unless explosives much lower in the building broke the support. WTC7 had to be brought down likely due to its holding a lot of paper records that the cabal wanted to destroy. WTC1 and WTC2 had to be brought down entirely because total collapse would make it easy to cordon off the site and ship off the debris removing all forensic evidence, whereas if they had stood in place missing only the tops would prevent the removal of forensic evidence while attracting tons of people during subsequent slow demolition. Besides, before it was done, there was no guarantee the planes would even hit the building (it's not an easy task for a plane flying at 500+mph to hit what looked like two thin sticks from long distance), the owner wanted to collect double insurance pay-out (without having to have many insurance assessors combing through the buildings if they stood after the hit) while avoiding having to pay the extraordinary cost of asbestos removal in such a huge building. Many members of the cabal and operatives also likely had to be paid off from some of the money to keep their mouths shut. So explosives were rigged into the critical support structures to ensure buildings complete destruction; as we saw from the missile strike video, it doesn't take many explosive hits to critical support columns in the building to bring down a building, so rigging it up wouldn't take long especially when the operation is not concerned with avoiding all human casualty.
