Across the redneck nation there are calls for a new official beer of Rural America. Butwiper really dropped the ball and screwed the pooch on this one.
I suggest Becks or St Paulie Girl, as both of those are under $12 a 12 pack these days. Where has Butwiper has been pushing the boundaries to how much they could charge for their Cultural Grog. I wouldn't mind seeing Shiner Boc become a huge national brand with a wider distribution than it currently has. Though when I do find it at the Publix here in South Florida, it's around $10.99 or more, for a 6pack. Even Guiness is a dollar cheaper than that on average.

I heard some chime in telling everyone to support their local craft beer brewers. I have never EVER had one single beer from a craft brewer that tasted anything like a old traditional beer recipe. And that's very important to me. I don't want off tastes, and hints of herbs, berries, citrus, or your Xer's vag yeast. Whart ever the fuck they put in there!

The problem I have with local craft beers, they have no respect for the traditional tried and true methods, and just brew a proper Lager, Pilsner, Ale, or Stout. They always have some untraditional ingredients in there, that makes it taste like crap, while they give a cute flavor name, which taste nothing like they suggest. Plus you can factor a good 40% of the cost of their beer goes into their packaging and marketing efforts. They claim they are craft beers, but they are trying like hell to be a major distributor at the expense of not focusing on a product worthy of such hullabaloo. And if I'm at a one more party and there's nothing left in the beer cooler but 9 seltzer fizzy beer, or sour IPAs in the cooler. I'm going loose my mind. Who brings these nasty beers, then proceeds to drink the hosts honest real beers? Nobody likes your soda beer, and IPA leave that crap at home. Who ever is doing that!

I think the Micro Breweries squeeze out the homebrew businesses.

You know all micro-brewers started out as home brewers right? For example, the guys who launched the home brew mart in San Diego, still one of the best stores for home brew supplies, also launched Ballast Point(bought out by a macro-brewery, sad). Same guys are also behind Cutwater spirits.

According to the internet, Yuengling is available nationwide. I can not verify this as it has always been available in my area.

It is, and technically a macro-brewery due to volume they produce. I think same for Stone, but they've never changed ownership.

Pacifico was the local beer. Mexico makes good beer.

Pacifico is one of the better Mexican beers. Actually founded by Germans though(seriously). Although Mexico does have micro-breweries as well. One of the best Belgium style beers I have had was from Cross Border Psycho, a Tijuana brewery.

https://nypost.com/2023/04/07/inside-the-woke-scoring-system-guiding-american-companies/

Executives at companies like Nike, Anheuser-Busch and Kate Spade, whose brand endorsements have turned controversial trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney into today’s woke “It girl,” aren’t just virtue signaling.

They’re handing out lucrative deals to what were once considered fringe celebrities because they have to — or risk failing an all-important social credit score that could make or break their businesses.

At stake is their Corporate Equality Index — or CEI — score, which is overseen by the Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBTQ+ political lobbying group in the world.

HRC, which has received millions from George Soros’ Open Society Foundation among others, issues report cards for America’s biggest corporations via the CEI: awarding or subtracting points for how well companies adhere to what HRC calls its “rating criteria.”

Businesses that attain the maximum 100 total points earn the coveted title “Best Place To Work For LGBTQ Equality.” Fifteen of the top 20 Fortune-ranked companies received 100% ratings last year, according to HRC data.

Here's some college photos from the marketing VP who wanted to kill Bud Light's "fratty” image and may have killed the entire brand

Bud Light's advertising is under the direction of the industry's first-ever female ad executive and her decisions sure have been... bold.

Alissa Heinerscheid lectured the brand on being too "fratty" and wanted the brand to be more inclusive.

Well, as it always turns out, the woke are usually just trying to promote "inclusion" and "diversity" to make up for their own personal shortcomings.

Daily Caller found some very interesting photos of Ms. Heinerscheid from her college days and, let's just say she has absolutely no room to lecture anyone about a "fratty" image. ...

Corporate Equality Index — or CEI

It wouldn't mean a drizzly shit if it weren't tied to their available bank liquidity.
61   Karloff   2023 Apr 13, 8:22pm

These companies who worship at the feet of the CEI better hope their billionaire-bucks keep rolling in, because their customer-bucks are disappearing quickly. Apparently they lost $6B in 6 days after this stunt.

I used to drink Bud. No more. Need to avoid all of In Bev's brands, which covers quite a few. They even get sneaky and buy up popular micro breweries so they can trick people like myself who think they're "buying local".

I call BS on execs claiming they weren't informed of ad campaign. How the fuck do you work at the C-level and not know what's going on in your own company? If it were true, I'd fire all of them for falling asleep at the wheel.

Perhaps they should rebrand as Butt Light.

Made with the finest gay hops and barley.

new slogan:
"Come out of the closet and head for the mountains."

Why is QueerBeer so important to transgender and gay people? They need to be able to go out and order Budweiser so people know who they are in a crowded room. "Hey bartender, I'll take a BUD". Now all the gay people at the bar can focus on that person. BUD is now a big sort of gay flag.

I correctly guessed that I'd find a picture of Bruce Jenner with Budweiser (in this case a Budweiser Tshirt)

66   Tenpoundbass   2023 Apr 14, 1:07pm

We should reinstate the 80's style of gender identity.

Drop the pronouns system, and go back to the earring system.
Straight guys have an earring in the left ear, while all of the Gay people wear it in their right ear.

Yuengling, Rolling Rock and Pabst Blue Ribbon are cheap beer and made in USA.

They are non Woke also, and geared toward working class demographic.

I like Yuengling Light.

Before InBev brought their portfolio of beers to the corner store market. I was drinking Yuengling beer.
I forgot that it's a dark amber colored beer. I had a couple yesterday at a pub after meeting up with some friends.
I think I'll go back to it. Since Becks and St Pauly Girl is also an InBev brand.

NO they seem to be getting the Republicans to offer themselves up to be Unfriended by the constituency.

Don Jr. tried to butter up the public, saying Budweiser did nuffin wrong. Then he got his ass handed to him. They are probably big donors to his Dad, the GOPe, and the Democrats. They have all of their bases covered. Don Jr. would do wise to just let that donor go.

Budweiser and Budweiser alone will have to atone for what they have done. And it was very foolish and short sighted of Don to weigh in before Budweiser has even made a conscionable effort make nice or rectify their error. They haven't even admitted their error, in any way shape or form.
Don's behavior is reminiscent of the way the CCP get their do boys to cow tail and fall in line. Dan Bonjingo also weighed in and got slapped back..

This isn't an error.

When is the last time anybody even MENTIONED Budweiser. In a month, you'll have forgotten who Dylan Mulvaney even was. Do you remember who Suey Park was, how about Zoe Quinn, or Anita Sarkessian? Every few years we get somebody acting like a COMPLETE asshole so we pay attention to them, because they are so immoral and disgusting as people, you can't help look away.

Anita Sarkeesian is a complete liar and hypocrite, THAT'S why she became famous. Suey Park is a fucking racist, complete bigot. Zoe Quinn is just a narcissistic, untalented whore. We only know of these people because we're so disgusted by them.

Mulvaney's shtick is he's ANYTHING but a woman. If he just just RESEMBLED a woman in either action or dress, or whatever, nobody would care. If Budweiser slapped Amanda Lepore's image on a can, you'd have no idea. The reason Mulvaney is even known about is everybody hates him. Amanda LePore looks like a disfigured inflatable fuck doll, but it still passes as a woman, sort of - a grotesque one:

It's more kind of a cartoon than a human being. At least it has a woman's figure. Perhaps he was truly born intersex, but ugh, I don't like the look. It's inhuman.

I'm going to disagree. As far as branding Busch is the manliest beer marketing I've seen of any beer. You got to remember these are brands under the umbrella. Goose Island out of Chicago is still Goose Island out of Chicago. I believe the brand is still run by the founders, they just collected a huge paycheck to sell to InBev. That was 10 years or so ago, so maybe the relationship has changed.

I don't like Corona, but commercials with chicks in bikinis on the beach is fine by me. Busch seasonal cans are awesome.

They made a massive mistake with Bud. I wouldn't punish these other beers because of it though unless they go the tranny route as well. You can wipe Bud out, but they're still going to make massive profits. 95% of people don't even know half these beers or that InBev owns the brands and will buy them. It's not like they bought these brands and moved them to St. Louis. They're independent contractors so to speak. So you hurt the local economies of the other beers that had zero input on the process. I like a lot of beers on that list. I will continue to buy them. And I'd like to meetup at some point in the future, just know if we have some beers it's likely on this list for me.

I don't guess you for much of a beach, guy, but come on. A Red Stripe in the Caribbean is one of the best things on the planet beer wise. St. John, USVI. We had shows with the band at Goose Island, Wrigleyville location, solid beer. Modelo. Hoegaarden. Stella. Bud, Busch and Mich I think are the only ones InBev actively brews in St. Louis. I think most are in their region of origin. I could be wrong.
