You are correct. All a property manager will do is milk the landlord for maintenance jobs thrown to his pals. I used a property manager for an Oklahoma house since I moved out of state, and I got bills like $100 to replace a toilet flapper or $200 to fix a single slat in a fence. Also, not just 10% of rents, it is usually 50% of the monthly rent to find a tenant, then that 10% each month.

The people who talk about easy landlord life do not own rentals and sound like those old "no money down" late night TV infomercials.

I am about as bitter from you getting free money as I am a welfare Ho getting free money.

Indeed. They only make sense if you own a fuck ton of real estate and then they'd primarily work for you and nobody else. I did manage to find a LOT of honest, hardworking, talented contractors in Maui. A bit in the slow side because people work on island-time there but very reasonable rates for stuff. I trusted several to go in to do work when I was here on the mainland unable to inspect.

After the Lahaina fire though very few left of anyone to help out. Glad I sold...

I saw this today and remembered this thread. @Patrick I think you should give the guy a break and wait to see where the chips fall. I totally agree with you about 'vaccines', but I have a strong background in this.

The goal (for this at least) is to cure cancer and it might work. I'm okay with gene therapy in this instance. They want to:

1. Mature liquid biopsy. I wrote some of the 1st algorithms for this working closely with our molecular biology lab over a decade ago. Solid tumor biopsies are weak because tumors are usually >1 type of cancer. And some 'expert', is usually just looking at thin slices of the tumor visually to determine what single type of cancer it is. For the lucky ones, there may be a therapeutic already available to kill it if diagnosed correctly. Sadly though, often the other cancers (other mutants) start growing up after that and the cancer 'comes back' and there is no treatment for the newer tumors. You dead!

We have a lot of tech for this and liquid biopsy does a great job detecting the actual multiple cancers that compose the tumor. Probably the best most well funded company doing this is Grail and Grail was getting heavy discounts on dna reading chemistry from the 800lb gorilla in the DNA reading space, Illumina.

So you have a tech that can zero in on the exact cancer types an individual has. Also DNA alignments etc., that an AI might be able to decipher better than a human. Very specific accurate diagnostics.

2. So what do you do after that? There are cancer drugs out there already but not for everything and not for complex cases like that so much. My aunt just died of an aggressive brain cancer 2 months ago. She lasted less than a month after it was detected. For that you need personalized medicine and you aren't getting personalized medicine without genetics and gene therapies. Personally I prefer antibodies but for now lets focus on mRNAs. mRNAs themselves are not inherently bad. Your body is full of them. If you program them to make toxins like spike proteins then yeah, that is bad juju. However in this case it may be the only way to save peoples lives and you aren't making your normal cells look like giant viruses to your immune system. It could very well be a home run.

This 100% isn't anything like you propose above. Imagine you go get your regular physical and one of the things they do with your blood draw is screen for cancer (or urine like what we used). You catch them at stage-1 or even stage-0, no or way less chemo, no or way less cancer specific antibodies (expensive), no or way less surgery. Just an mRNA injection and go home. You never even knew you had it and within a month it's completely gone.

Lets see how this all plays out. He's barely been in office for 24hrs. If he gets involved with mRNAs for infections then I'll be on your side for that, but not this. Personally after covid I've sworn off all vaccines unless I know the vector is not mRNA but I would do this in a pinch no problem.

If this result holds up, then I will have been precisely right about how the mRNA covid shots damage the heart.

This means a few important things:

1. The mRNA platform is at fault. The spike protein may make matters worse, but all mRNA/LNP shots are expected to trigger immune-mediated heart and circulatory damage, irrespective of what protein is encoded in the mRNA payload. This damage does not require spike protein and has nothing to do with Covid/SARS-CoV2

2. Accidental IV injection likely increases damage, but is not required to injure the heart

3. The shots should never have been allowed to be injected into humans and should be immediately pulled from the market.

4. mRNA gene therapies are not suitable for use in medicine or food production.

5. No mRNA gene therapy will be safe enough to contemplate using until and unless a precise cellular targeting mechanism is created and the entire package PROPERLY tested against TRUE placebo controls.

Not to mention the SV40 problem and many others. But even if mRNA tech were not inherently bad, the bigger problem is that trust in the medical establishment has been burned to the ground and used as a latrine for years after that. They lied over and over and millions died as a result of those lies. And Pfizer alone got $100 billion by murdering all those people. With exemption from liability for those murders written into law.

And now Fauci gets a pardon for orchestrating the murders, first via virus, then via mandated mRNA and hospital death protocols which paid large bonuses.

I'll trust doctors after I've seen the hangings for the worst crime against humanity ever.

Personally I'd rather see personalized antibodies but I don't think that tech is mature enough - getting there though with some of those new DNA writing companies. There are some cancer cures that are antibodies though, just not personalized which is a bitch. My dad's lymphoma was cured with antibodies.

Checkout LNAs and BNAs. Linked nucleic acids and bridged nucleic acids. We used them for RND PCR tests when we want to distinguish a fraction of a degree Celsius melting temp of mutant vs. wild type. ... not many details were supplied about Stargate, except that Larry Ellison tried way too hard to sell AI as a medical miracle. Quite unfortunately, Larry picked mRNA cancer drugs to use as his example, bragging that AI could help speed up detecting cancer particles floating around in patients’ blood (particles=bad), and then “within 48 hours” could help make a personalized cancer “vaccine” that would force folk’s cells into making even more cancer particles that will float around in their blood (particles=good!).

The more I’ve learned about mRNA technology, the more it seems like the dumbest idea science has ever had, a wormhole of stupidity. The basic idea is to genetically engineer a shot forcing your cells to create some kind of protein, so that your natural immune system then mounts a response, killing all the transfected cells (which used to be healthy) as well as the targeted cancer itself.

That’s the idea anyhow.

But … if the goal is spurring the immune system with cancer proteins, why do we need the whole mRNA process in the first place? Why not just inject the protein that spurs the immune response, and leave the risky transfection process out of it? After all, that’s how traditional vaccines work. And in Ellison’s scenario, if detectable cancer proteins are already present in the blood, it’s not completely clear how forcing cells to produce more of the same proteins could solve the problem instead of making it worse.

Sadly, I think the answer to “why mRNA” has more to do with things like patents and profit potentials rather than the mRNA platform supporting any stargate to a health paradise. We’ll see. But unfortunately for the mRNA scientists, we are all onto them now. We know too much.

I don't work on that stuff but what I was considering was fixing intracellular signaling pathways not extra cellular protein export. The idea is that when a cell gets damaged it kills itself by way of apoptosis. There is a signaling pathway for that. In cancer though even that is damaged. So if you could restore the pathway (not activate it for god sakes) then the cancer cells could kill themselves.

Thought a little more about this project, mRNAs and 'vaccines' aside they are going to spend a half trillion dollars on this? That's enough for somewhere around 250 to 750 biotech companies maybe more. I seriously doubt that AI is just going to be doing healthcare shit which is a bit spooky.

Maybe this all has to do with some billionaires wanting to be immortal and experimenting with using mRNA for both killing off cancers and at the same time defeating the telomere mechanism.

No I have not; sounds interesting. Back in my wet lab days I worked with her cells (HELA cells) for tissue culture. We were screening angiogenesis inhibitors in the 90s which was supposed to be THE! CURE! for cancer. Every decade we think we have some new tech that's a cure all. Polygenic Risk Scores is a recent one that flopped too. Mostly we fail and I'm thinking this stargate thing will too at least in large part but maybe that's not really what it's for.

The upcoming decade or so is going to be all about synthetic biology though. FWIW, mRNAs are a teeny tiny subsection of that. Hopefully that brings great things and won't be forced on people.

We even had a clinic but only billionaires and high net worth millionaires showed up. Gates, top echelon of China etc., and people like that were in our parking lot going to the clinic. I worked upstairs analyzing genomes and I never knew who's was who's. That's when I learned about transhumanism and that BS. Ray Kurzweil was touting us. He's pumping fountainlife.com lately.
