So what do you want to actual DO about it? How about:

1. Limit immigration from third world to first world to allow the stabilized first world populations to be supported by conservation, efficiency and sustainable energy.
2. Heavily tariff or otherwise restrict imports from nations that not have environmental laws similar to the US. It does no good to ban coal here yet ship it to China.

These two would have the most impact on curtailing pollution, resource depletion, and "carbon." We could also add closing most businesses at night, curtail wasteful overnight deliveries, use deposit bottles, use clothelines, $2/gallon gas tax, and so on.

Stopping migration overflow and thus slowing/declining third world growth would have the biggest impact. First World countries should be aloud to slowly decrease their populations until they level off, third world will follow.

If this is really a "War" and we only have 12 years left to save humanity - we better get busy bombing the shit out of dirty Chinese and Indian coal and oil power plants.

Everything else is background noise.

So he went to his trusty New York Times, he actually bought a subscription while I was there a few moths ago. After discussing how they were fake news. I think this is how he likes to antagonize me, passive aggressive. So he looks at NYT, and not one single article on the hearing, Nadler or John Dean. So then he checks CNN, and all CNN reported is some win that Nader will get to read all of the Mueller material. Which Mueller has said all along they could have. The fight has been to get Mueller in the hot seat. Which Nadler didn't get. But it didn't stop NYT and CNN from spinning that as news. On the same day Nadler had his star witness in the Impeachment proceedings before Congress.
CNN did have one short video that came up in a Google search, though not on their page. And it was misleading saying Nadler shuts down Jim Jordan.

Finally I told him if he wants to read the truth he will have to go to The Gateway Pundit. So he gets there and and finally reads the article and saw Nadler and Dean's sad performances. My buddy admits how pathetic the whole affair is. And for the first time, admits they must not have anything on Trump.

Still that didn't stop his contempt for the truth and his wincing at Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz speaking the truth.
