I had no issue with Obama golfing. Every person needs a hobby and stress relief. We're talking about $0.20 or less for every American and almost half don't even pay federal taxes, so they don't have a leg to stand on when bitching about the golf.

Most the costs are linked to the travel and making sure sites are secure. So it's not really golf. I'd appreciate if they could make the rounds linked to something work wise as far as location so travel costs are baked in, but other wise I don't give a shit about any POTUS golfing. I've never understood why it was a problem. Not going to get worked up if 0.0005% of my taxes paid are used on golf.

There are many theories why. Obviously, the Democrat re-triangulation under Clinton adopting free trade polices of the Rep party was a factor. The argument I like best is that the super rich want to permanently establish their wealth and by supporting democrat party which believes in substantial regulation, the legal system poses a significant barrier to entry for competitors. The small business is anathema to the left as it represents a loss of control.

Not just for the rich. He gave a middle class tax cut too. Also he is trying to bring middle class jobs back to this country after the globalist in DC sold our country out to China. Low paid jobs at Walmart became the norm during many Democratic administrations including Obama and Clinton, but to be fair, also Bush.

It'll drop to 20 or 30K after they finally eliminate all of the false attributions (well after the election, of course, after which Covid 19 will evaporate from the press).

I think this is just an unwanted side effect that Patrick could look into. Is it Russian, or does note belong to some other E. European/FSU entity? I have not seen much about it - not denying that it is not real, but it MIGHT not be Russians. May be Kazakhs, or Uzbeks, or someone else. There is a plethora of corrupt fucks over there.

I have not followed much about E. European crime syndicates since 2005 or so. After that (+/- some years), most large organized crime fell under Russian State. But there exist just as bad or even probably worse syndicates from -stans, which are even more ruthless than Russian ones. See Nazarbayev, Karimov, etc.
