'Professor', quoting a bunch of military individuals (and not particularly high ranking ones either) who share your conspiracy views is proof of nothing. What is it that you are actually trying to demonstrate?
The magic number for inventory is 6 months, if you do not see the magic 6, the prices shall continue to rise.
Overly simplistic analysis based on market behavior since post WWII.
The bigger and more subtler problem is that your avg. American has been getting poorer since the late 70's/early 80's despite working as hard or harder as he ever had. This is because wages have stagnated or even declined as labor has lost bargaining power with capital and we have transitioned to a service economy where most jobs are low paying and unspecialized labor.
At the same time retirement funds have been severely depleted or wiped out entirely by 2 back to back bubbles (.com & housing) in the US. So the older generation cannot fund another boom or bubble as their retirement. What little money they do have left will be wiped out by the costs of healthcare which even if they went down, and it won't since the best that can be hoped for is a large decrease in the rate of increase, would still be too expensive.
The younger generation is hamstrung by high college debt and the near unavailability of decent paying full time entry level jobs. They can barely keep food on the table even while living in their parents basement with the McJobs they can get. Those jobs also have no real opportunities for advancement either and often have little or no benefits too. They are the age group that normally buys those starter homes and many of them are now into their mid to late 20's, even early 30's, and still have no ability to get a house. Nor likely will they ever, short of inheriting their parents house of course.
None of that is going to change either any time soon.
Indeed the best we can realistically hope for is that we don't get another recession, which is optimistic to say the least. The US tends to get them every 7-10 yr and our economy is no longer so big that we can easily weather an economic shock from foreign economies if they go into recession too.
We're probably going to continue to along a path similar to what Japan has experienced following its big bust in the late 80's since that is the path of least political resistance.
http://www.businessinsider.com/richard-koo-the-world-in-balance-sheet-recession-2012-4?op=1
Sadly for Japan it looks like the demographics bomb (too many and eventually more old people than young people, olds start collecting on their retirement money to live off and eventually need more and more healthcare, *boom* goes the economy) is going to go off before they ever really reach a solid recovery despite a redoubling of efforts on their governments' part lately. They've been throwing money like mad at businesses and the rich to start development programs but none of that money is trickling down to raise worker's wages.
It never could of course, as we Americans learned from Ronnie Raygun in the 80's, trickle down economics never works.

England is a great country, but clearly irrelevant, no doubt.
It just follows along in the footsteps...
It has a leash that is controlled by the US.
Sit ubu sit.
BTW, I've been drinking a lot. So stop making me fun of me :).
Our govt..... er god damn businesses have nothing to do but hide from what they have done.
We should string them up. Hailburton? Lockheed? Goldman Sachs? BofA?
Holy Christ hang them.
The world would be a better place.
Bigs, I can see you're replying to me from the main page. Please don't bother. I got tired of your tedious bullshit and put you on ignore. I suggest you do the same for me and then you will not have to see my posts.
But since you still can...
You got tired of my tedious bullshit and put me on ignore? Good, though it's strange how you keep responding to my posts. Not to mention that it's a bit rich for a repetitive conspiracy bullshitter to be complaining about another poster being tedious. One would even be inclined to say it was laughable. Tedious would be someone posting up exactly the same videos and images into the double digits. I wonder who that might be...
Wow, this assertion is off the charts. You are aware, bgamall, that a disproportionate number of Jews worked at Cantor Fitzgerald, including a guy I went to college with, and all those people perished? Daniel Lewin, CTO of Akamai Technologies, and a former member of Sayeret Matkal of the IDF special forces, was one of the first people killed on AA Flight 11, as he took on some of the hijackers, right?
One would think that if there were a big conspiracy, that Cantor would have closed down, and Lewin especially would not have boarded that flight.
I don't think we know the whole story on the 9/11 attacks, but to propose the Israelis were behind it rivals birtherism. You just lost any credibility you have by posting clips from Russia Today and Faux News.
Even Matt Taibbi, one of the biggest critics ever of US policies, says most 9/11 conspiracy theories are rubbish.
@tts that was very well put. Economic cycles are circular, but there's a difference between short cycles (bubble/recession) and longer term civilization cycles where government policies have long term and lasting effects on a population that wind up affecting the economy in a big way and lead to collapse or government change.
Banks gave very stupid loans from 2001 - 2007.
Since then, they've been stupid the other way, denying loans that are quite safe.
We're probably going to continue to along a path similar to what Japan has experienced following its big bust in the late 80's since that is the path of least political resistance.
True.
I don’t see interest rising in near future. More likely will drop to 3.5-4% on 30y fix. Federal budget debt is not helping at all. Only a small percentage of people received rise in jobs. Most salaries are stagnating for years. Job creation is way, way bellow needs, keep employers in driving seats so they can terrorize and ride on workers as much as they can, with danger of being fired. 1% is not interested in opening new businesses, lack of incentives. They just look where to park the money or buy existing business.
The headline looked interesting, but the writer cites wikipedia, and here are two of his other articles

I'd search for a more legit source before linking to this story.
ALL conspiracy theories about 9-11 are true!
ALL conspiracy theories are true! The internet says so.
We know. You are Argentinian.
lol I don't.
You're right, I am wrong. We're all good here, citizen.
Just keep thinking everything is good. We're good (we're AWESOME).
AMERICA FUCK YEAH!!
No problem here.
I'm not American
Hey, you can't say anything bad about Cruz. He's a Hispanic, or Latino, or just a guy with a Spanish name. Affirmative action police siren. You are under arrest for the crime of discrimination, and general not PC behavior.
You got it backwards.
His wife is employed by goldmans's sac....
APOCALYPSEFUCK is Comptroller says
Lol, I have a get out of jail card. His wife is employed by Goldman Sachs!
No wonder he's filled with wonder at is own righteousness and authority. Goldman Sachs sucks *his* cock.
Russia Today
RT is a hundred times more credible than any jew-owned news network.
it is no secret that the zionists control America and are the root cause of its destruction.
http://tomatobubble.com/id199.html
the main reason why China gets hated by the jew media is because China told the zionist bankers to go fuck themselves, the reason why China is financially sound and the U.S is NOT!
Hitler was VERY wise man.
Why do you want to change the topic? You have posted up the same conspiracy 'theories' for years now.
Because you don't listen. You don't listen to the obvious. You don't listen to the firefighters who were witness to explosions in the towers prior to collapse. They were on the bottom floors. You don't listen that real Squibs were observed shooting out of the towers. So I change the subject to try to help you understand what went on.
YOU don't listen. You see things that don't exist, you imagine yourself an expert above actual experts, you accept ALL evidence of a conspiracy no matter how utterly ridiculous, and you discount ALL evidence that disproves your moronic beliefs. You have a screw loose. There doesn't seem to be a conspiracy that you don't believe.
England is a pretty decent country
No it isn't. Just like Israel abuses the USA by miring us in the middle east, so to does the Square Mile abuse us by miring us in housing bubbles and credit crises.
Duh. Here we go again.
APOCALYPSEFUCK is Comptroller says
If they involve more than one person, you'll be able to read competing versions of it in book stores.
They are there. But the interwebs are cheaper.
I have read it all. Some say it was controlled demolition. Others say small yield nuclear devices or focused energy weapons. There is a very popular widely believed conspiracy theory that box cutter armed jihadis took down WTC7 with office fires. I even read that it was farting nuns.
I believe that I don't know how 9/11/2001 happened; but I don't believe the NIST or 9/11 commission reports.
Bollocks. You believe the buildings were brought down by controlled demolitions. That is the view that you constantly and repetitively post on here.
I can back CrazyMan up on this one...
I heard Ziva confirm pre-9/11 knowledge on her farewell show.
Nobody said they do nothing wrong. I asked you for proof of your assertion that Mossad or Aman knew about 9/11 in advance.
People are trying to read facts, not irrelevant BS. If you don't pare it back I will delete you.
Perhaps you could stop adding photos to my posts. Just a suggestion. And whilst you are at it, maybe you could add some actual facts to your posts rather than just conspiracy nonsense. You could start by trying to help out Crazyman seeing as he singularly failed to supply ANY actual evidence for his claims about Israel.
you accept ALL evidence of a conspiracy
Yeah, Squibbs, White Smoke, Firefighters testimony, all those proofs that you say are not proofs. But then you post no proof.
Post no proof? I and others have responded to everything you post. You simply ignore facts. Random dust and debris being forced out of the building by downward pressure are squibs to you. Confused eye witness testimony by a couple of firefighters at a location unconnected to the point of collapse is absolute proof to you. And 'white smoke' is, well what the fuck is that laughable bit of 'proof' that you are now peddling? You don't deal in facts. You deal in conspiracy nonsense.
Duh. Here we go again.
Thatcherism resulted directly in our housing bubble and I can prove it.
I thought you Americans were strong on personal responsibility. Obviously not in your case.
care to name ANOTHER time in history when 1000's of people were told an earth shattering secret and managed to keep it?
If Israel Shahak had not interpreted the Yinon Plan into English, the strategy of regime change could have been kept a secret.
You must be having a laugh. Everything you post comes across as parody.

One more point, not all the Council on Foreign Relations believes in continual war which is a hallmark of Yinon Zionism. That is a good sign. Many in the US, including the generals, are not keen on invading Iran, believing it is a bad idea.
You don't say. Remarkable insight.
I thought you Americans were strong on personal responsibility. Obviously not in your case.
It is the job of the underwriter to tell you how much house you can afford. But when securitization came along, the underwriters left the building. Tell you what Bigs, don't go to a doctor and exercise your personal responsibility to diagnose your next big disease.
Ah, I see. You can post that comment but I'm not allowed to respond in kind without you deleting my post. That must be why you start all these conspiracy threads and pay your little premium.
Job creation has been low for the past 3 years. Why did housing prices rise if they require better job creation?
Lending standards were loosened, not to levels seen during the bubble but quite a bit still. The big difference was on allowed DTI's and down payment which was lower than what was normal before I'd say 2000 or so. Basically most everything was a 20% down/30 yr loan with a DTI of ~33% + a decent credit score. These days 5-10% down on a 30 yr loan with a DTI of 40% + lousy credit score is the norm. 2nd's are still not unheard of either.
Also the govt./Fed pushing and keeping rates artificially low has an effect too. If rates were to rise to the approximate historical average of ~5% it'd probably be terrible for the housing market.
Supply and demand are "overly simplified"?...so care to explain why they don't give information about the market today, when in your own post, you say they've worked since ww2?
I did in that same post which you later try to hand wave away with a "blah blah blah".
Since you don't appear to have understood what I said or read the links I posted here is the short(er) version and answer to your questions: supply and demand matter but so do the amount of money and cost of living of your average American. The income your average American has access to has been going down while the cost of living has been going up. That is the continuing long term trend and there is nothing you can point to reasonably and say, "this will fix that problem". Therefore housing prices will be suppressed for some time to come.
Now they've already loosened lending standards quite a bit, too much IMO, and if they try to do that any further they'll have a bubble on their hands and they know it. So you're probably not going to see lending get much looser so there can be no "fix" from that angle either.
lending standards were extremely tight for the past 3 years.
Compared to the bubble years sure. Compared to the years prior to 2000 no. Since you're not posting any evidence to the contrary and just continue to essentially say "nuh uh" the point still stands.
IF home prices were too high for americans, today, supply would rise, and demand would fall.
If supply and demand were the sole drivers of housing prices in the US than we wouldn't have had the bubble. Nor any of the other booms and busts of the prior decades too. Supply and demand are not the only factors at play here. Posting statements of denial + overt insults when I haven't even been slightly insulting to you will not convince anyone of anything either BTW.
I've posted copious graphs and information above...Your response is basically "salaries aren't going up, and home prices can't increase, unless salaries are going up... except for the past 3 years when home prices increased like hell while salaries weren't going up" wow!
You've posted lots of data that is in of itself good and reasonably accurate but you're also ignoring other information too.
You're not looking at the whole picture in other words.
Home prices have been responding to the banks/govt. efforts to reinflate the housing market by having a echo boom but now those efforts are falling flat. They'd have to continue loosening lending standards or find a way to reduce rates further to keep the boom going.
He kicked our veterans out of the WWII Memorial, then shot and killed them.

It's the fact that his *wife*, the insane cannibal vegan Amazon, cooked them on a hibachi on the Capitol mall and ate them.
It's amazing how much meat you can shotgun while wearing a burqa. And did you see Oprah devour that fat dude's head?! Didn't even use two hands!
The video feed was pretty cool, though. I learned a lot of Islamic prayers in Swahili.
He kicked our veterans out of the WWII Memorial, then shot and killed
them.
So does that make Obama a veteran then?
The intense concentration of pure snark in this thread should be bottled and sold as a bracing aftershave that repels the opposite sex.
At 1/10th dilution, of course. We wouldn't want to cause any nasty chemical burns.

It's true, Minister of Islamofascist Hate and Rage Oprah has more than
doubled in size since the Kenyan Interloper has seized America, now that she has
had unlimited supplies of veterans and white babies to cannibalize with her
lesbian lover, the genocidal Amazon, satan's own sous chef, the diabolical
Michelle.
She's come a long way since being a pointless mouthpiece for all things nobody gives a shit about, while giving away freebies from big corporations. Was her audience listening to her babble because it was prophetic, or because they had to to get to the time of the freebies?
But she did make "Dr." Phil famous, so there's that. She's still obese and irrelevant but nobody cares or pays attention now, because there's no freebies.
Obama isn't letting the financial industry commit crimes for no reason. It is part of a plan to destroy America.
He wants to communicate to the masses that it is OK to commit crime. Soon attorney generals will be calling serial killers to negotiate civil penalties.
But his ultimate goal is to bring down capitalism by showing what a sham it is.
I wanted to come back in and apologize to Bigsby. I certainly didn't mean to insult you like that.
I type things I generally don't mean after I've been drinking a lot :)
I still think there's some fishy shit WRT 9/11 (really fishy shit) but insulting you wasn't on the list of things to do.
Sorry.
Hitler was VERY wise man.
Yowza, that's some seriously stupid shit.
I think there's much more than meets the eye, but come on, this statement is insane.
RT is a hundred times more credible than any jew-owned news network.

Bgamall4, please police your thread in the correct way. It's gotten out of hand and it's a personal attack, which is against the rules. (I'm tempted though to let him continue. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.)
By allowing this idiot to spout anti-Semitic attacks, you are as guilty as him. (And no, you don't get a pass because your natural father was Jewish. It doesn't immunize you, so don't try and pass it off like it does, which allows you to make the same type of ridiculous comments.)
Jewish owned media does control America, and that is a danger to US autonomy. Israel does not wholly control the US government or we would have invaded Iran by now.
I see now that you are two birds of a feather.
And the worst part is, you're wrong about the Israelis and Mossad wanting a war:
http://www.youtube.com/embed/3QbKwLEfSo8
Oh, I'm not anti-semite in the least, but the Israelis are seriously insane. They want to control that entire region and they are hell bent on achieving it.
Israel is a terrorist nation, no doubt. Backed whole hardheadedly by the good ol US of A, another terrorist nation (our greatest generation, which includes my father, roll over in their graves on a regular basis).
Let's face it. That entire region is full of of insane, religiously fooled (and fueled) idiots hell bent on killing each other.
They are all protagonists to progression. Idiots, the lot of them.
