I would imagine recoveries would be accompanied by higher borrowing. We might need more debt for a real recovery to take hold.

I guess a period of healing was in order. Now loans are growing again.

Without wage gains, this indeed will lead us to the next crisis - but it will take years to get there.

Bill's sole act of valor was impregnating the hirsute Hillary. It required night combat gear, black face paint, night vision and a tranquilizer gun, but he did it.

He fired a few rounds in her, got the deed done, then round in himself to calm down.

To this day, Hilary believes that Chelsea is a clone born by immaculate conception. Bill had a hirsute lesbian trophy made up for his study's mantle piece.

The oligarchy can't wait for old Hillary ... Here and abroad. From official State Department release (required by law).

"The annual list of gifts from foreign leaders to government officials in 2012 was released by the State Department on Thursday.

The most valuable gift was "white gold jewelry with teardrop rubies and diamonds containing a necklace, a bracelet, earrings and a ring" valued at $500,000 to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from Saudi King Abdullah.

She also received a "Mouawad Larme D'Amour 18k gold, sapphire, and diamond earrings, necklace, and bracelet," valued at $58,000 from the Queen of Brunei and a $1,750 silver tea set from the president of Algeria."

Can we look forward to Immense Hirsute Lesbian Zombie Andrea Dworkin appointed USAG showing up on TV every night to howl, "FIST MY ASS, AMERICA! AND LICK YOUR FUCKING FINGERS!" ?

I would regard that as the least of our worries.

Although, Dworkin would make a pretty good zombie. She really wouldn't look any different from when she was alive.

Seriously, you should look into Reno and Clinton's role at Ruby Ridge - the right wing is right about some things.

The right gets things correct. Things the left screwed up on. It's the constant "we did it but its the liberals fault" refrain that makes the right wingnuts look like the idiiot hypocrtites that they are.

47422   HydroCabron   2014 Jun 18, 11:06pm

Reno as good as pulled the trigger to execute Weaver's wife.

I was never able to support Clinton after that.

47423   HydroCabron   2014 Jun 18, 11:15pm

Here's a good refresher on Ruby Ridge - the author is right to wonder why Clinton wasn't impeached.

If we had had a constitutionally-elected conservative, Randy Weaver's wife would be alive.

The amazing thing about the CRA is the delayed explosion of a bomb that destroyed our economy, along with all goodness and niceness in America, plus motherhood.

Think of it: enacted 1977, detonated 2007. The ultimate sleeper device.

Easy to conflate the events given the distance now and the focus on key actors like special forces, Horiuchi, etc. But is it an article of faith among the tea baggers that Clinton ordered the fire at will protocol at the Weavers?

So Bush spent $3,500,000,000,003.74 to go there, and didn't bother to destroy those chemical weapons?

The Reagan Administration. The special envoy to Saddam was Rummsfeld.

WaPo article re-posted by Common Dreams:
https://www.commondreams.org/headlines02/1230-04.htm

When Saddam Gassed the Kurds, we lied and blamed Iran.

But I doubt that facility has any working material.

Besides, ISIS already got chemical weapons from Saudi Arabia and used them in Syria. Like in the 80s with Saddam, we lied and blamed Assad.

The problem with realism as a major justification in foreign policy is that yesterday's friend may be tomorrow's enemy. See Afghanistan.

Iraq crisis: Isis jihadists 'seize Saddam Hussein's chemical weapons stockpile

All the other headlines read chemical weapons facility, not stockpile. Only the telegraph used the word stockpile. The US military spokesman said today there aren't any usable weapons there. The UN said there weren't any usable weapons there in 2004.

So yes Bush lied.

Chemical weapons produced at the Al Muthanna facility, which Isis today seized, are believed to have included mustard gas, Sarin, Tabun, and VX.

The remaining chemical weapons from Saddam Hussein's regime are stored in two sealed bunkers, both located at the Al Muthanna Chemicals Weapons Complex, a large site in the western desert some 80km north west of Baghdad.

So Bush could not find any.
Obama could not find any.
But the Jihadis found them. NSA should be hiring the Jihadis.

Stockpiles of chemical munitions are still stored there. Although declared, the bunkers contents have yet to be confirmed.

These areas of the compound pose a hazard to civilians and potential blackmarketers.

But, I'm glad you were there to verify the contents!!!

So let's not get too worked up until someone other than a 6th century wannabe can "verify the contents".

Funny, Bush ordered the surge, and things really quieted down in the country. Obama, as part of his second round campaigning, ordered all troops out of Iraq, totally AGAINST the judgment of all his top generals and his other military advisors.

The country goes to shit as a result of Obama's orders and he doesn't even leave a support group to help...

But some how, it's Bush's fault now for the CURRENT situation.... Hmmm...

The algorithm is simple, really: if problem which occurred during or was caused by previous administrations is solved - take credit, if not - blame predecessor.

The surge coincided with the end of a spasm of sectarian violence - some factions lost their funding and weapons at the same time.

Obama, as part of his campaigning, ordered all troops out of Iraq, totally AGAINST the judgment of all his top generals and his other military advisors.

Obama withdrew troops to honor the a status-of-forces agreement signed between Maliki and the Bush State Department before Obama took office. End of story.

I'm sure that if Obama had violated this agreement, conservatives would have had many nice things to say about Obama.

You should stay away from the Iraq issue: your low level of understanding here is hurting what remains of your credibility after spamming this forum with so many mindless Chicken Little anti-ACA threads.

Yep, there has never been in history any conflicts between Iraq and Iran and Iran has never sent or supported any attackers in Iraq... ever...

Got it!!

I suspected it before but now I actually believe you really are too stupid and/or uninformed to be a real person. ISIS is a sunni group funded and supplied by saudi arabia. Iran is a shia country just like the current government in iraq. Iran and Iraq had a war when Hussein and the sunni's were in power in Iraq.

It is far better to remain silent and appear to be a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. Mark Twain.

Communist Manifesto:

http://www.gradesaver.com/communist-manifesto/study-guide/section2/

While Marx acknowledges that the revolution will be different in different countries, he includes an outline of its likely course in advanced capitalistic nations: (in Marx's words, 104)
1. Abolition of private property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of the rights of inheritance.
4. Confiscation of the property of emigrants and rebels.
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of wastelands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal liability of all labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of the population over the country.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc.

Rolling Stone should be censored for Plagarism - Its not nice to copy someone elses Manifesto and then publish it as if it were Rolling Stones idea!!!
