Trump made his Treasury pick in July. This wasn't a hidden surprise!
http://fortune.com/2016/07/19/here-is-who-donald-trump-wants-for-treasury-secretary/
"Sell Everything" - RBS on Jan 11
Returns since...
Oil: +50%
EM: +21%
S&P 500: +17%
US High Yield: +13%
$RBS: -41%
Long Volatility: -72%
The Visuals right now for the Democrats stink:
* Record DOW highs
* Strong Dollar
* Carrier Jobs saved
* Snotty college kids burning flags
* Whinging and Recounts
* Re-electing Old Guard Insider and Perennial Failures like Nancy Pelosi, discussing Black Muslims as DNC Chairs.
Clinton called and conceded on election night. Who isn't recognizing it?
Thoughtful decisions and whisky don't necessarily go hand in hand...

"Sell Everything" - RBS on Jan 11
All RBS needed to do is change "everything" to RBS ... it would have been one of the best calls of the year
The behavior of people back in January ..... whistle ... so people are just naturally skittish
It's the Liberals fault for them expecting every Libtard in the world move to a Blue City and live in a snowglobe above the Starbucks.
They forgot to leave some voters where it counts. These retarded bastards honestly think they can win election on population in one city alone.
Clinton supporters need to quit whining about the Electoral College
For once I agree with Ironman, Democrats are leaving an openings that might bite them back in 2020
Clinton’s 2.3-million-popular-vote plurality over Trump depends on the votes in a single state: California. Clinton has more than a 4-million-vote plurality over Trump there.
And a lot of these were illegal aliens voting.
“A great deal of fear, sadness, and anger among students, faculty, and staff resulted, especially for those that gather in the [office space],†Chamber asserted. “The message was hateful and harmful toward members of our community. It violated every value that this institution considers to be at its core.â€
These people get paid a salary???
"And a lot of these were illegal aliens voting."
Then you should welcome the recounts! We'll find lots of illegal votes there, right?

Waste of time and money. Wont change the results.
"Waste of time and money. Wont change the results."
I agree, except I'm curious to see if we find hundreds of thousands of illegals voting as Trump suggests.
"When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election."
So, your contention is that it shouldn't be one person/one vote. Instead it should be 1 square mile/1 vote? Or something along those lines?
People who live in higher density areas vote doesn't mean as much as someone who lives in North Dakota? That's your theory?
How undemocratic of you.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif called President-elect USA Donald Trump and felicitated him on his victory. President Trump said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif you have a very good reputation. You are a terrific guy. You are doing amazing work which is visible in every way. I am looking forward to see you soon. As I am talking to you Prime Minister, I feel I am talking to a person I have known for long. Your country is amazing with tremendous opportunities. Pakistanis are one of the most intelligent people. I am ready and willing to play any role that you want me to play to address and find solutions to the outstanding problems. It will be an honor and I will personally do it. Feel free to call me any time even before 20th January that is before I assume my office.
On being invited to visit Pakistan by the prime minister, Mr. Trump said that he would love to come to a fantastic country, fantastic place of fantastic people. Please convey to the Pakistani people that they are amazing and all Pakistanis I have known are exceptional people, said Mr. Donald Trump.
Sounds like a bunch of generically complimentary Trumpisms.
HORRIBLE! UNPRESIDENTIAL! ORANGE DOUCHE!!! CALLING GENERIC POPULATION FANTASTIC COULD LEAD TO WW3! INDIA APPALLED!
This is the great Trumpligula's campaign of studied confusion. What a penetrating insight.
Lefties. If he calls them and bites their head off-he is deranged. if he calls and talks diplomatically-he is deranged. I think he will win the 2nd term very easily-maybe the lefties might get out of their SJW mentality.
We are lucky to have a President who is finally entirely incapable of feeling shame or embarrassment and will act out accordingly. It will be grand spectacle, with Larry and Curly Joe from GoldieSacks.
I don't get the problem. So he called Pakistanis intelligent. And?
Don't you understand, he schmoozed the Pakistanis like the Salesman he is! Schmoozed them! When he should haughtily lecture them like a real leader, like Obama, Hillary, or Merkel.
I think he will win the 2nd term very easily
LOL. How about seeing how he does after he is actually inaugurated before you make such predictions.
Reminds me of how the cons gushed over Schwarzenegger, wanting to change the Constitution so he could run for President, all before he was sworn into office.
Here's Trump's stance pre-election:
On Jan. 17 of that year, he wrote: “Get it straight: Pakistan is not our friend. We’ve given them billions and billions of dollars, and what did we get? Betrayal and disrespect — and much worse. #TimeToGetToughâ€
Trump has also spoken highly of Pakistan's archrival, India. During his campaign, he courted the Hindu-American vote, and said that in a Trump presidency, India and the United States would be “best friends.â€
“There won’t be any relationship more important to us,†Trump said in Edison, N.J., at a rally organized by self-described Indian nationalists.
Here's some info on the guy who Trump was felating:
Sharif, the Pakistani prime minister, is markedly less loved in his country than Trump's praise would make it seem. He is dogged by allegations of corruption, and the release of the Panama Papers last summer appeared to confirm many Pakistanis' suspicions. He is being investigated for conflicts of interest stemming from four luxurious apartments occupied by members of his family in London, and has vowed to step down if found guilty of siphoning funds.

Sounds like the kind of amiable empty guff every salesman will tell you before trying to screw you over.

You only have to be better than your opposition. if you get someone on the left who talks policy, provides solution-even I will vote for them. But if all you have is behaving like an SJW-well.
Carbon Dioxide goes up, croaks teeming masses of petri dish, shitting humanity. Win Win!
It's funny watching the libbies freak out over this.
After 9 months of trumpTraining, they still don't get it.
Heraclit nailed it below...
Sounds like the kind of amiable empty guff every salesman will tell you before trying to screw you over.
The Pakistani Prime Minister pulled out his curvy dagger ten times with his eyes seething with psychotic third world rage, but wound up buying a banged up old Yugo from Trump. That's Trump diplomacy in action for you.
If Trump hadn't run so hard on the anti-establishment platform, he wouldn't have to be working so hard now to prove that he is establishment.
I'm not sure why that is, but it's what it feels like. Maybe it's about reassuring global markets.

It's obviously a pile of horse shit. What's odd is how he's setting the stage for how things should be interpreted. Now, if he actually means to convey support for someone, what does he do? Does he just add more and more superlatives? If you are never expected to be interpreted literally, you unfortunately can only convey vague feelings. You have no ability to state anything with any specificity. Most Trump haters have known that Trump is just a bullshitter / con man / fancy version of a used car salesman / whatever you want to call it. It's not that we don't understand that that is what he is. It's that we hate what he is.
(Extra ridiculousness: Pakistan claims Khan designed a nuclear bomb all by himself without Government Assistance, LOL!)
Saying or implying Pakistan is technologically on same level of India is indeed ridiculous
He already has schmoozed Indian-Americans and I expect he will be equally or even more
In major metros I'm sure that was a relatively low-yield task, as very few people I know voted for trump. Out of 20 relatives in New Jersey, only one supported trump and out of 50 relatives overall eligible to vote, only 3-4 supported trump.
None of my globalist relatives in India supported Trump
I'm pretty sure Trump was just in full salesman mode, flattering up the marks is par for the course. Maybe he wants to do a reset a la Hillary Clinton with Pakistan, making it clear to them from the start that he considers their diplomatic relationship a new beginning. This doesn't mean he plans to give away the farm like Bush II and Obama did, pouring billions in foreign "aid" to The Pakistani government in a futile attempt to sway them to stop the Taliban. They were never going to do this because: a)stopping the Taliban was unpopular and b)the US kept giving them money to not stop the Taliban. Duh!
I think a Trump will be a much better negotiator.
The Leftist neocons have had their try. Now they snipe from the peanut gallery as a master does his work.
