Yes, obstruction of justice is a felony and a very serious one, especially when the investigation is such a serious one. It is now known that the Russians hacked into many computers and attempted to hack into many more including state election computers. That's a lot more serious than revealing the DNC's dirty laundry. That constitutes actual tampering with an election, or at least attempted tampering.

I have no doubt that every single person, except maybe Thunderlips, who is trying to make Trump's obstruction of justice seem inconsequential, would be calling for the fire squad if Bill Clinton, Obama, or Hillary Clinton was caught doing this. They would say it is literally treason and that Bill/Obama/Hillary should be shot as a traitor. So how can you not consider the condoning of Trump's action utter hypocrisy?

This entire fiasco, is a tactic a guilty person or persons uses to distract and deflect. The way to lead people, is to keep their attention forward i.e. The Russians hacked our election, and Trump or his campaign MAY have colluded with the Russians and so forth. Yet, who exactly was in charge while these supposed crimes were taking place? Who was head of the CIA, or the Department of Justice, or the NSA, the FBI whose direct responsibility it is to prevent such serious crimes? Why is no one speaking of this!? It was an utter and complete failure on their part, a dereliction of their defined duty to protect our Nation. Not merely in 1 area, but every major department whose precise responsibility it was to protect this Nation. My question is, why is not one of these people stepping up to own that? Frankly that's more telling than these accusations, for me.
