Between Biden bragging to the CFR and Shonkins sworn affadavit, it's time for an investigation.
105135   Bd6r   2019 Sep 29, 11:22am

In science at least, the simplest explanation is assumed to be correct provided that facts are not against. In this case, the simplest explanation for Biden Jr being paid 80K a month despite having no qualifications for the job is that he is US vice president's son. We can not know if Biden Sr did anything inappropriate other than not policing his offspring, but as a minimum we have an obvious conflict of interest here, which should have been taken into account by an extremely high-ranking US official.
105136   Bd6r   2019 Sep 29, 11:28am

And please remember that this happened in UKRAINE which after Russia is the most corrupt country in visible Universe. Any business there will involve kickbacks, bribes, and official corruption if not outright violent crimes. Hence, for close relatives of US! OFFICIALS! to do business there is stupid as fuck.

Rudy has the Receipts. Watch George Stephanapolous try to blow off a sworn affidavit.

Rudy makes the point that Shonkin is so corrupt, he's broke; but the prosecutor who replaced him is driving around in a Bentley, despite a Ukranian Salary about half that of the median US Income.

Within the statute of limitations. The Senate should open an ethics investigation at the minimum. We need transparency and hearings!

I think a two year investigation for $30M into Biden is fair play here.

Sorry, the son of an American politician on the board of an Eastern European oil/gas company? You know, because some random foreigner that has absolutely zero experience running an oil/gas company is the perfect board choice, this is so purely coincidental there’s nothing to see there. No quid pro quo, etc.

Oh, and let’s pay him $50,000 a month for it. $50,000 a month. The average monthly wage in Ukraine is $300. So let’s pay him 166 times the average wage for the population. Suppose that’s fair, you know, given that he’s taking all the time and effort of lending his vast energy experience to this small foreign company. I’m sure it will turn up that he spent minimal time actually conducting board business, meaning he was probably paid in excess of ten thousand dollars an hour. Eh, who are we kidding, they conduct board business in Ukranian, not English, so it’s probably fair to say he didn’t do anything for the $600,000 annual salary they paid him.

You people really are in the panic mode. Nobody said it's the same. It's just ironic that nepotism in so icredibly rampant in the current White House. Far more than anything we've ever seen. Most of these are situations where they were directly hired by their relative in a position of power in federal government.

Where as we don't know that Biden did anything wrong here other than being vice President, and also possibly not forbidding his son from taking that job, if indeed he didn't.

Right. Why did Kuwait give Harken the offshore leases after Gulf War I? George W was on the board. George W wasn't on ARCO's board. News, certainly, in places like Chemical Week and the Washington Post, but not treason of the type committed by Trump threatening to leave Ukraine undefended from Russian tanks.

There is zero evidence for treason in Trump's phone calls. The whole leftoid screeching also hinges on the assumption that Russia is still a major US enemy like it was during the cold War before it collapsed. It's so fucking disingenuous that the leftoids screech every time iran is strong armed, or China w/ the tarriffs, and they demand the US has major talks with and makes concessions to each major enemy, yet when it comes to either Russia or Kim Jong Un (the 2 countries Trump had huge, some would say historic, diplomatic success with) they get into a leftoid cognitive dissonance tizzy and claim any treatment or talks better than cold war status quo somehow constitutes treason. It's equally naive to think that the Ukraine has the US and Europe's best interest in mind, the truth is while the Ukraine's and Russia's nationalists are deeply divided due to Russia's history of dominance as the former soviet block, they both have a very similar culture and are of the same people. The Ukraine pandering to Europe has been purely opportunistic, if they would somehow gain the upper hand in Europe tomorrow Ukrainians would give zero fucks about Europeans, not any different from the Russians. The whole impeachment story is nothing but hot air.

No, doesn’t. In the article, Tarlov falsely asserts

As a legal standard, we don’t even need a quid pro quo to impeach, though it is present in the notes of the call.

That statement is false in that a quid pro quo IS necessary to impeach...in fact impeachment is only available after the commission of "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors"

Secondly, Tarlov attempts to explain how Trump actually did commit a quid pro quo act. Of course he didn’t and like everyone else trying to claim Trumps actions did, she sounds horribly confused. Certainly she is either lying or attempting to make us believe that she’s too stupid to assess simple legal concepts.

Finally, it doesn’t help her case that she’s a Democrat consultant and strategist.

But it’s ok Tim and Marcus. You only have 5 more years of President Trump.

Impressive analysis. That is if you're going for some kind of most intellectually dishonest person of the year award.

Zelensky’s quid: “Thank you for your great support in the area of defense. We are ready to continue to cooperate for the next steps specifically we are almost ready to buy more Javelins from the United States for defense purposes.” (Javelins are anti-tank missiles).

Trump’s Quo: “I would like you to do us a favor though….”

There’s more, of course. Trump’s mention of reciprocity; his request that Ukraine investigate Biden; and his mention that his people (Attorney General William Barr and Trump personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani) will be in touch with Ukraine all read like a classic mob shakedown.

As journalist Ryan Lizza put it: “Anyone who has ever listened to the Gotti tapes will recognize the subtlety here.” I’ve heard the tapes of the late Mafia boss and Lizza is spot on.

And by the way, why was Trump using his personal attorney rather than U.S. government officials to deal with a foreign country? This was not only highly inappropriate, but ironic, given that Giuliani made his reputation as a crusading U.S. attorney in New York City by prosecuting Mafia figures.

@APOCALYPSEFUCKisShostikovitch

1. I can not know if Biden pressuring UA govt had anything to do with prosecutor investigating his son, and we will never know. This is way too high up the food chain, and other than hearing some partisan noise we will never know the truth. BTW I have 1000% confidence level in both UA prosecutors being highly corrupt, both the original one (Shokin?) and the one who replaced him. It will end just like with your examples of Harken leases, $400/gal fuel for troops in Afghanistan, and so on, with no definite information and some people getting very rich. Too much money involved (50-80K Biden Jr salary is just the visible part of iceberg, UA shale fields near Lvov and in perspective near Doneck are the real payoffs. BTW some people say that shale fields near Doneck are the real reason behind Russian aggression, and I seem to think they might be right).

2. I disagree with you about Javelins. Whatever reason (I suspect our Golden Gollum does not not know and/or does not care that UA is at war with Russia, or $$$ transfer to MIC blinds him), Trump actually sold lethal weapons to Ukraine, while St Obama sat on his ass and preached tolerance. So, that is one thing we can not blame Trump for.

3. In any case, as a minimum, this is an example of terminal senility or complete lack of reality perception by Biden Sr.

Right. IF you imply it, or even more or less say it explicitly, it doesn't mean that you meant it.

Without a signed contract, or repeated video recordings of "can we both agree that I did this for you, and you did that for me as a quid pro quo," without that it just isn't a quid pro quo.

And yet the fact that Biden was VP when his son got a sweet board of directors deal, is more than enough proof of a quid pro quo ?

I have to admit it is shocking that someone gets a seat on a board of directors becasue of "connections." Damn capitalism.

Yes, ultimately this is true. And that is why it will be an utter disaster for the Democrats. They are impeaching on purely political terms, with no evidence that Trump committed any of the Constitutional wrongs to merit impeachment. Therefore theirs is a political stunt and will be met politically from the opposing party. That and Trump’s base will be energized to a degree not yet seen. Perhaps short of open rebellion, but not short of historical voting. Democrats will lose all house and senate and of course the Presidency

The constitution describes in what instances impeachment can take place! It’s exactly under what I posted!

The Constitution limits grounds of impeachment to "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors".[2] The precise meaning of the phrase "high Crimes and Misdemeanors" is not defined in the Constitution itself.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_in_the_United_States

And the quid pro quo in this situation isnt even implicit! You have to make a galactic leap to get there including insertion of made up facts!

It’s why not one of these propagandist articles advocating impeachment makes any sort of sense. It’s actually why President Trump hasn’t already been impeached. If there were a true quid pro quo situation, there would already be 3-10 Republican Senators who would be ready to try and convict, if not more.

Only two kinds of people believes whistle blower's narrative.
1)A total and complete Moron, that is brainwashed to believe it, someone that just watches CNN and stews over Trump. As they believe everything CNN says about Trump.
2)Someone that really knows it's all a lie, and understands, if Trump did just half of what every TDS has tried to pull on Trump. There would be hell to pay. They also realize everything, down to the very last detail of everything they keep accusing Trump of, is exactly what the whole Swamp is guilty of. They are working in collusion to overthrow Trump. These people realize, it's a Coup based on lies, and deceit. They are scared to death that Trump is going to end up bringing the whole lot to Justice. These people hate Trump so fucking much, and they are such partisan hacks. They would burn their house down to get rid of a Rat. And that's what they are doing over Trump, and they damn well know it.

Wait! I said the first one was a Moron...

Anyway, what kind of Moron are you?

This is hilarious. We have Biden on tape before an audience recounting his demands for the firing of a Ukrainian Prosecutor, and the Prosecutor Shonkin - who is broke - who already filed a sworn affidavit that he was pressured to resign because he was investigating Bursima and all the Board Members including one Hunter Biden. Who was booted from the Naval Reserve recently for failing a drug test for Cocaine, and no experience in Energy or Finance. Just wait until they get to the $1.5B he solicited for his Fund with one week of a China Visit from that country.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are offering conspiracy theories as to why the WH Transcript is fake, and ignoring the fact the Ukrainian President confirmed the phone call and the content of it.

While the Biden Campaign sends threatening letters to demand NBC, CNN, Fox, etc. not have Guiliani on the show after he showed Shonkin's sworn testimony to George Stephanopolous on ABC.

Check out the Legal Team repping the Whistleblower. State and CIA to the hilt.
