Just wait til the decoys ping guys with RealDoll homing reflexes and they proceed like zombies to the humping stations with their hard ons.

Old coots will wish they were in intensive care hooked up to ventilators and IVs with Covid rather than be in that restaurant.

Globalism was a failure, the ones that reaped the most were the financiers and investors.
It was a closed loop Monopoly of every sector, indices and vertical.
Sure it could be argued that employed a greater number of people worldwide. But it was employment without room for upward mobility.
There was no dream or hope to save up a few bucks and become a global supplier, manufacturer, or corporation. Unless you could generate enough buzz on Wall Street to go public and have the billions it takes set that up. All we can do is gamble our money in the Stock Market and invest in those companies. Which determines you to have a vested interest in that company succeeding and not having competition. Sure we could invent the Cronut but how many can you sell before the fad dies?

Globalism has been all about people cheering Warren Buffet every time he makes another billion, it's been like watching a sports team. No athletic benefit to the observer at all.

I was looking at commodities. In general they all went up or peaked in early 2011. That tells me a lot of that was due to Federal Reserve policies and fears of inflation.

I wonder if commodities will run up again over the next couple of years due to Federal Reserve policies such as it buying at least $4 trillion in Treasury notes and corporate bonds.

The SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND says:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized.

No matter how the Senate votes, Dem or Repub, there is no way this would pass a Supreme Court test.
110972   Bd6r   2020 May 15, 10:17am

Corrupt retards from both parties voted for it.

The US Senate has voted to give law enforcement agencies access to web browsing data without a warrant, dramatically expanding the government’s surveillance powers in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The power grab was led by Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell as part of a reauthorization of the Patriot Act, which gives federal agencies broad domestic surveillance powers. Sens. Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Steve Daines (R-MT) attempted to remove the expanded powers from the bill with a bipartisan amendment.

But in a shock upset, the privacy-preserving amendment fell short by a single vote after several senators who would have voted “Yes” failed to show up to the session, including Bernie Sanders. 9 Democratic senators also voted “No,” causing the amendment to fall short of the 60-vote threshold it needed to pass.

110975   Tenpoundbass   2020 May 15, 11:22am

I have been saying since the beginning that there will be a brokered convention.
What is getting more obvious as the time approaches is, if there was anyone suited to fit the bill that could unite a large swath of the voting base to commit to the Democrat ticket.
That person would have thrown his hat in the ring a long time ago. Look at Mike Bloomberg, he thought he was a shoe in, right? Couldn't get three people excited about him.

There's going to be a brokered convention there's no doubt, Biden will never be the nominee. I don't think the person they will chose is even on the radar yet.
It wont be any of the floaters vying for the VP spot nor any of the defeated primary candidates.
110976   Shaman   2020 May 15, 11:30am

So the DNC is between a rock and a hard place:
1)Biden is a surefire loser. He’s senile and can’t hack it AT ALL, can’t even be propped up enough to look reasonable. He’s got a very problematic history of bills that fuck over the public and he’s embroiled in the ObamaGate scandal, as well as having an extremely credible MeToo allegation against him from Tara Reade. Guess he fingerbanged the wrong intern!
2)if the DNC drops Joe as the nominee, they will have to go with Bernie...but they absolutely hate Bernie and refuse to nominate him. This will have to be made absolutely clear to everyone if they bypass him for anyone else. And this will completely discourage everyone who voted for Bernie from voting Democrat and probably from voting at all. This would be the worst case scenario for the DNC because it would lead to a massive loss of down ballot races for Congress, Senate, Governors, and even state level reps. The DNC would have its most disastrous loss probably ever! (I hope they go with this option)
3)They drop Biden and bring on someone so famous and charismatic that a lot of people would like them as POTUS. This eliminates everyone who ran for the nomination, and would be an overt admission that the primary process is a total scam.
They might do this. And if they are delusional enough, they might bring on Hillary to do this. That would be the worst of all worlds for the DNC, and lead to an even worse loss than in option 2.
The downside is that we would have to listen to that shrill harpy for another few months and endure yet another whiny book “What Happened 2”
110977   rocketjoe79   2020 May 15, 12:20pm

If they can find ANYONE else, Biden coul dbe convinced to drop out due to "health concerns." Make up something like "chronic headache pain" - can't diagnose pain directly. Easy out.

But no one has emerged that really stands out. They don't want a centrist, but that's the only possible way to win against Trump.
No worries, Trump gets re-elected , and the left gets their first woman president in 2024:

Ivanka Trump!

Xochitl Hinojosa, a senior aide to Tom Perez, is expected to join Clinton's campaign as director of coalitions press. Hinojosa would be the third Latina to join Clinton in a high-profile campaign position.

LET"S SEE THE DNA TEST RESULTS! DOES SHE INDEED SPEAK LATIN????

If Trump loses, now that there is precedence of Congress and Judges usurping the President on every front.
We should all elect AOC, then fill the Senate and the House with Jim Jordons, and Devein Nuenezes.
And do to them what they did to Trump. Except our Bob Mueller actually finds dirt on AOC and the rest of the Democrats past and present.

They seem to think Americans will go away if they can just get rid of Trump. But we're here to force feed them back their own shit, if they succeed in rigging the election.

They weaponized our system against America, but it's now a weapon we can use on them as well.
We're going to have to flip those seats with people who give a shit and share the American people's goal.
Then we'll get justice using their own powerful weapon against them.

110986   mell   2020 May 15, 6:17pm

He's right - that's exactly what happened. Nobody tested and nobody had a problem although people knew it must have been spreading for a while. The cat is out of the bag and it's just a bad flu and so should the measures be. Open up now and let people with symptoms who go to their MD or hospital get tested if they are a suspected case. While a high testing capacity is good, frenzied testing is bullshit. It doesn't solve anything. Once a cheap antibody test that can be done at home is widely available, everybody can pay a hundred bucks and find out if they have been exposed. We already know that close to 25% of the population has come in contact with sars-cov-2. So what's the point of testing all those 25% after the fact when the tests are hardly reliable yet. They may come back negative if the person was asymptomatic and/or has recovered, only antibody tests will show previous exposure.

Absolutely!

And the original sin is RACISM! Note the similarities to Catholic original sin:

- you're guilty by birth
- no one needs any evidence to accuse you
- accusers raise their status by making accusations
- your only allowed course of action is confession and utter submission to the heirarchy of the religion

I don't know California, but my guess is that the factory there is on a rather large, valuable piece of land. Probably economically feasible to move the factory to Nevada and sell the land in CA.
110998   Bd6r   2020 May 16, 11:40am

Sadly, Great State of Texas is slowly sliding to libtardism because they immigrate from CA after having ruined their state with their voting patterns, and keep voting the same way in TX, showing their retardation and aversion to logical reasoning. Austin is already CA East, and Houston is sliding in the same direction. Turner, even though he is a Democrat, is a holdover from past (as in good ole boy in pocket of business) and is extremely business-friendly. He was against shutting down the city, which was ordered by a SJW judge Hidalgo, elected by libtards in 2016. But I suspect that if Tesla moves to TX with their Clownifornian employees, Turner types will go out and will be replaced by Lina Hidalgo types, which are carbon copies of AOC.

There must be in-groups whom the law protectes but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.
