Since we know the numbers are going to suck since Peppermint Patty is leading the Amen Corner Media to blame Putin for it:

Frankly, I prefer my spaceship to have big tits and not fake inflated ones.

EDIT - numbers drop:
America goes back to the 80s: Surging gas prices and higher rents push inflation to 41-year high of 8.5% as White House blames it on Putin invading Ukraine
The consumer price index rose 8.5% in March from a year ago, the fastest increase since December 1981
Housing costs, which make up about a third of the index, have escalated and show no signs of cooling
Gasoline prices soared 49% in March from a year ago as the war in Ukraine rocked energy markets
Biden's administration tried to get ahead of the dire inflation news by blaming Russian leader Vladimir Putin
But Republicans place the blame for soaring prices on 'Democrats' reckless spending and failed policies'

This one has really pissed me off when doing certain repairs.

Same here. At one house I was restoring I had to go to a specialty lumberyard to get true dimensional wood.

Yes, its especially rigged with a Democrat in the White House.

That is why I would not be surprised if a recession just so happens right after the November election as all the economic stats reported by the federal guvmint will point to a recession.

Is there really any doubt in your mind?

Fed Chair Powell says inflation has been higher than thought, expects rates to hold steady

"The Fed has been holding its key overnight borrowing rate in a targeted range of 5.25%-5.5%. Though the rate has been there since July, it is the highest level in some 23 years."

McDonalds looking to increase sales and is likely to introduce a $5 meal.

A Big Mac meal (large size) costs around $11 in Panama City Beach, FL where the average starting wage for fast food workers is around $15 an hour. Servers in restaurants get around $10 an hour plus tips in Panama City Beach.

I am wondering if the Big Mac meal has always cost about 80% of the entry level hourly wage (assuming that the meal size and quality remains the same).

Or was it 50% back in the 1990s ?

"The $5 meal deal will reportedly offer a choice of a McChicken, McDouble or four-piece chicken McNuggets with fries and a drink."

As far as my post above, McDonalds use to have a value meal for around $4 a couple of years ago which was a McDouble (which is essentially a small double-cheeseburger) or McChicken, with small fries and small fountain drink.

Remember when it was $5 for a footlong sandwich at Subway ? I think that was about 5 years ago. Now it is $6.99 if you use a coupon :-(

I'm seeing 50% inflation in REAL food and REAL stuff. Shittastic Chindian garbage is only up 25%. Sure, my investments (inflation leading assets) are up 50% - that just means that I've gone nowhere in the past 4 years adjusted for Bidenomics.

In 1970 a big mac, fries, and soda cost about $1.25. Minimum wage was $1.50.

Still about an hours work for a meal.

McDonald's was better back then.

Decreasing sour cream serving

I’m a Taco Bell manager, and today we got new sour cream guns. They give out at least half the amount of sour cream as before for the same price! Just wanted to let y’all know. I’m also wondering if other locations are doing this too.

Maybe their customer will become less obese.
