Some of the facts here are indisputable, and are clearly targetted at the most ignorant of beliefs that his opposition tends to hold. Esp. around domestic fossil fuel production, tax cuts, spending cuts, those sorts of things.

Others are more disputable. To get at his number for jobs creation, one needs fairly technical counterfactual macroeconomic analysis. You need to ask 'what-ifs.' That's inherently assailable. Overall, the video is a very partial assessment, chock full of narrative. Not a tall glass of 200 proof fact. It doesn't impress me on the strength of its analysis.

What floors me is the production. Stunning. It flows like a goddamned Bruckheimer trailer. It's even better than that Joe Manchin ad that showed a Democrat with a weapon and got away with it.

Even if there are a few slight exaggerations, it's a breathtaking contrast to what the right wing propaganda machine would have its sheep believe.

For many independents who are comparing the two messages, which one will they believe? Which one is closer to the truth ? (especially regarding obstruction of reasonable policies)

You are confused, 1,2,3,4 are the recipe of fascism. Know your ism's. Am I concerned? Concerned enough to get my money offshore and get multiple citizenships.

If I thought we were on a road to a totalitarian nightmare of any variety (and Bob is exactly right about fascism --know your isms) I'd be looking into a way out for me and my family, and following through on it before it's too late. That would be my responsibilty as a father and husband.

Your side by side double poster has lots of visual impact. Its actually quite disgusting. "Tax the Rich", "Spread the Wealth", punish success, "Fair Share", Economic Equality". Even the slogan is the same: "FORWARD" comrades.

Thats a proven recipe for failure, not a way to get America back on track.

Abe, listen, text in authentic Soviet propaganda posters is written in Russian. Ie: Руский язык. It has a different look, because it uses different letters from ours. Their alphabet is called "Cyrillic," and is more closely related to the Greek alphabet than our Latin-derived one.

There are other, more subtle stylistic points that give it away as a forgery. For example, you never see Lenin leading men off a cliff in authentic Soviet Poster art. No more than you ever see Obama leading men off a cliff in authentic Obama campaign material.
