Never watched her shows and didn't grow up with much American TV. So it could be age related cause even if you're vile you can probably hide it better - esp. for the crassest/worst offenses - after childhood and before seniorhood, when your diplomacy radar functions at its best. ;)

While I agree on the personal/network distancing it is sad that political correctness has basically removed a lot of talent (left and right if you must use political divides) - not necessarily talking about Roseanne - from art, entertainment and business. If Colbert says on his show that Trump's mouth is Putin's cock-holster (imagine a comedy show under Obama with similar imagery) - note the double standard here - I am still all for people who find Colbert brilliant for whatever reason to enjoy his show/humor (same for Kathy G. when she showed DTs severed head).
