Be safe. There are a lot of people out there who are willing to hurt you in order to protect you.

Most US hospitals are so empty that they are having financial difficulties.
110249   Al_Sharpton_for_President   2020 Apr 23, 12:35pm

The COVID-19 fatality rate is reasonably similar to the flu, judging by the recent NY state numbers. Probably identical, if you subtract out the fatalities in the sick, elderly population. In fact, the flu is deadlier in children. COVID-19 is probably deadlier in the elderly population, who have no immunity to the virus, and cannot develop immunity due to their age. This population has residual immunity to the flu that they developed when younger with functional immune systems.

Oddly enough, we are acting to prevent the development of immunity by locking people down. And preventing the future elderly from having immunity when they get to that stage.

Our leaders are elderly imbeciles.

Yeah, having the ICU stressed isn't enough to offset that.

CV apparently often requires prolonged ventilator care, that is, sometimes for multiple weeks. I would guess that hospitals have death panels that decide whether or not patients get that care (although they obviously don't call themselves death panels).

It's one of those things that don't get discussed. Does someone with no insurance and no net worth get that kind of care ? Probably depends on a variety of factors, such as the financial backing and status of the Hospital, and how overloaded their ICU is. If they have the capacity (rooms, personal, ventilators) without taking on a lot of additional costs, then why not right ? Do they have to keep those resources available for the insured people that come in later today or tomorrow ? Glad I don't have to make those type of decisions.

Rate of infection in NY is doubling every 3 days and accelerating.
New projections show need of 140,000 hospital beds, way higher than current capacity.
Worse: need 40,000 Intensive Care Units beds, where the current capacity is 3000.

And Manhattan is still above water.

Agreed. It's probably also pretty interesting that 99% of hospitals are not having to make these decisions and in fact are in financial trouble. Oh well 🤷‍♀️
110256   rocketjoe79   2020 Apr 23, 2:10pm

NY just asked the USNS Comfort to be detached elsewhere - beds not needed. And they're shipping ventilators to other states. But, better more than less I guess.

Hospitals aren't overloaded. The Feds pick up $36k of cost for ventilator treatments so it is more of an issue of whether too many are put on them.

Except it wouldn't be Civil disobedience. That's what the Commies have been wanting Trump supporters to do all along. Now they would settle for Americans regardless if you like Bernie or Trump. Antifa raps on the head were paid for by the same people now, that will demand a put down the rebellion if people resist.
Now is the time, for either Barr quit his "Ima gonna do this and Ima gonna do that!" bullshit and get his ass to work.

Also the game they are playing on giving the swamp enough hooks and lines to set themselves. He also keeps giving them the opportunity to get ahead and work on their 10 ways to Sunday to get back at him, and the American People.

If they aren't up to it, it's going to take more than protesting and rioting to stop the commie take over.

one benefit from the Wuhan Flu is that it has allowed Civil Disobedience to put down around the world where it was a thorn in the NWO side.

It will be a damn shame if our best patriots are in a peaceful rabble when the UN attack helicopters and Chinese Tanks come rolling in.

So? HOW is he stupid? So far he's not started a new war yet. You know how long it's been since we had a president that didn't start a new war in his first term? Jimmy Carter was the last one.

Tim Aurora says
Yeah that was a Republican ploy and now you punish democrats for that.

The Democrats aren't any different. If Al Gore was elected president in 2000 (well in truth, he was) we would have gone to war with Iraq because "we" (our government) supported mean old Saddam Hussein in the 1980's and we had to correct that awful mistake - we have a duty to the Iraqis to do it! All the dummy republican faithful would have opposed it, all the dummy democratic faithful would have supported it and there would be IDENTICAL results.

Obama lied about why the US attacked Libya - it wasn't to prevent a humanitarian crisis, if it was, the US wouldn't have left it in civil war with operating slavery markets. Obama lied why he attacked Syria, it wasn't because Assad was using chemical weapons against his own people, because the United States simply doesn't care about human rights. He's just another sociopathic puppet - just like George W. Bush was. He bombed 7 nations over 8 years - can you even name them all? He's the reason there's a refugee influx into Europe - he was creating them.

The only difference between the two establishment parties are what lies they tell you to explain away whatever atrocity they are told to commit. That's what you are voting for, what BS you get fed.

President Donald Trump has left the impression with foreign officials, members of his administration, and others involved in Iranian negotiations that he is actively considering a French plan to extend a $15 billion credit line to the Iranians if Tehran comes back into compliance with the Obama-era nuclear deal.

Notice how many websites and "news" sites have that exact same story, repeated all over the place. Look at who is the "journalist" that wrote that article.

Erin Banco and Asawin Suebsaeng on https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-flirts-with-dollar15-billion-bailout-for-iran-sources-say

Laurence Lewis on https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/9/15/1885047/-Donald-Trump-is-a-deeply-stupid-man-who-routinely-gets-his-ass-kicked-on-the-world-stage

You're just printing propaganda. Do you know how often the same 6 words in the English language are repeated when you're not quoting somebody? It's one in millions. It's easy to find out if you're reading propaganda by just taking out 10 words from a sentence, and plugging it into a search engine. Repeatedly, you will find the same "story" told by multiple people on multiple sites, attributed to multiple authors.

I copied some extremely well written references

You enjoy them here commercial free.

Yes of course I did not make it up on the spot, THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT PROPAGANDA.

I pointed out that "news" sources copy the same story repeatedly, give them different bylines and different authors, and falsely claim they are the authors. That's what makes it propaganda. I even gave you links so you could verify what I was saying was correct. I felt it was a waste of time and I said so when I wrote it.

The reason the same story is repeated, nearly verbatim, by multiple "authors" is because you're reading propaganda, from an unknown source.

Remember when the Mueller Report was being claimed by a lot of "reporters" to have damning evidence that Trump has colluded with Russia and they even told you multiple ways he supposedly had? Didn't you notice that they never ever cited the page number on the report to support their claim? It was because they were simply lying. They never cite original sources. When I was more naive I would believe some BS news story and then go to the source to confirm it expecting to find it. That was decades ago.

We do not have a news media in the United States at all today. Nobody that has any interest in what is going on listens to "news" anymore. We all know it's fake news, we know it's propaganda. It's been propaganda since the 2nd Iraq invasion, and it was mostly propaganda during the first. Remember this?

www.youtube.com/embed/LmfVs3WaE9Y

That's the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador at the time. Her testimony was critical in solidifying American citizen's support for war against Iraq. She was lying. What she describes in that video never happened. She was coached by Hill and Knowlton - a PR firm, a propaganda firm. Everything she says in that video is a lie.

Nothing you see or read in "establishment" news can be trusted at this point. Nothing.

All this means that you still don’t think Trump is a stupid fucking bastard

No, it means I understand the battle isn't between the left and the right, it's between the government and the rest of us. I don't care if Trump is stupid or not, I only care about results. He's the first president since Jimmy Carter that hasn't begun a new war this far into his first term. That's an improvement, and it's been a damned long time since I've seen an improvement.

jazz_music says
Because it could be lies like the war against Iraq

This makes absolutely no sense given the context of what you wrote. That's a non sequitur.

I was trying to point out that the media is full of crap and that you are naive to continue to place any amount of trust in it.

Nancy LeTourneau on https://washingtonmonthly.com/2019/09/12/trump-tries-to-extinguish-the-fire-he-started-with-iran/

They all "wrote" the same article. Isn't that odd? Identify the original author.

The United States very literally doesn't have a news media. Trump made an offer of 15 billion dollars to Iran? How do you know? How do these "journalists" know? How do you know what a "journalist" is writing is truthful?

You don't. You've seen them lie:

www.youtube.com/embed/Wn5pIkEHPf0&t=2s

Can you not see the blatantly obvious green screen? The reporter claims to be "on location". You're wasting your time pointing to "news" articles that you can't verify or even identify the original author of - more importantly you waste your time believing them. I just simply don't understand who can continue to pay attention to the mainstream "news" and not realize it's BS. How can you not see the obvious at this point? 1/2 the country can.

Actually UV therapy and irradiation (e. g. of blood) is having a revival in many recent medical publications. Not far fetched. As for disinfectant that is harder to pull off and likely not feasible although people have a been experimenting with topical and even ingested hydrogen peroxide to combat infections with some success. So he's not an MD and a quick shooter without filter which makes him sound a bit dense at times, so what? Not everybody likes to read 100% from the teleprompter like Obummer did.
