Dude, high exchange rate hurts exporters. I.e. the same companies Ruscist state relies on for the revenue. The value of "see, zee dollar is now worth 65 kopecks, like in 1982, meenz we winz!" is purely PR one for the low-IQ population (while 60 y.o. alcoholics are getting ready to roll to battle in freshly taken out of mothballs T-62 MBTs).

Russia's exports are energy, raw materials and food.
It's not high tech bullshit and luxury cars.
A strong ruble either pulls up commodities or it makes commodities unavailable from Russia. It allows them to buy high tech bullshit and luxury cars though.
The dollar was extremely strong until 1971. What a disaster that was for the 34 years that the US was the reserve currency with gold backing which was convertible. Of course, our Federal Reserve produced more dollar notes than they had gold, but it was one of our biggest boom times ever. Russia is pulling this shit right now.

What's the point of exporting if you can't buy the stuff you don't produce? Which is everything except oil, gas and some shitty food. Exporters bring in $$, forced to sell 100% of it to the govt for unrealistic exchange rate, get a fistful of rubble and then what? Go buy some more oil, raw materials and food for themselves? LOL.
If this is sooooo good and beneficial, why the fuck didn't they do it from the get go? In 2021? Or 2011? Or 2001? They had that mighty pedo Vlad at helm all along.
The whole argument of "sanctions and isolation are good for the economy" is fully retarded.
You know I have never heard the term "ginger" (referring to a red haired person that has freckles and supposedly lacks a soul) until something like 10 years ago. I thought it may have been made up by South Park.
The term "ginger hair" has been around for at least 150 years, but considering this focused on the Irish, I'm kind of curious if either "nigger" or "ginger" are intentional anagrams of one another.
